His simple smirk, lights my heart a blaze.
The shine of pearl sends my mind into a daze.
Its only a smile to you,
but to me it makes my world so new.
I never thought that I would be so genuinely attracted to someone’s smile to the point that the corners of your lips hooked themselves to my heart. Your smile sweetened the very air in my lungs. It gives me hope; it renews my faith whenever I’m down in the dumps. As your lips spread like the sun on the horizon, my gaze went straight to your lips and it melted me as emotions came right off your face. I know for sure that I will never be able to stay mad for long whenever I look at you even if you were the one who ticked me off. I’ll try my darnest to keep a straight face but once the silly kid in you gives off a sly grin like a Cheshire cat, I’ll lose all control and eventually a crack will come through my veneer pulling up into a smile, melting my heart. Your smile brings a sparkle of vigor to empty eyes making me wish that I could see the world through your eyes because only then I will be able experience the way you look at things, a free-spirted youthful soul trapped in a grown man’s body. Your smile illuminates my soul, bringing much light and happiness into my life. I love how you will always look at me and smile with all of yourself so sincerely and dearly.
